These photographs are of the Adlib Steel Orchestra taken during the last night of rehearsal for the Brooklyn Panorama on August 29th, 2014. The band rehearses at its panyard (rehearsal space), 855 Nassau Road, Uniondale, NY nightly during the months of July and August every year to prepare for the Panorama competition, held on the Saturday evening of the Labor Day weekend.
Adlib tied for second place in the competition, two points out of 500 behind the winning orchestra. Eleven Steel Orchestras participated in the competition. Adlib has taken first place three times, and now has come in second three times also. Adlib is the only band from outside Brooklyn to ever win the competition.
