Panjumbie

Welcome to the Panjumbie.com Photo Gallery
The next morning I spent some time on top of Pilot Butte in Bend, Oregon.

I was trying to decide where to spend the night after visiting Crater Lake. The two young men who I photographed enjoying themselves at Crater Lake suggested I go as far as Bend, which happened to be where they were living, as they said I would find plenty of motels there.

It turned out to be a good decision because there in the city of Bend is this good sized butte, Pilot Butte, which has been made into a park. You can drive (or walk if you've got the stamina) all the way to the top, which has a large flat area with a 360 degree view of the surroundings. As you can see, it is a popular spot.

I took a lot of photographs there, many of which have been made into panoramic photographs here.

I apologize for the excess "grain" or noise, I had changed some settings on the camera for the last few pictures in the dim light at Crater Lake and forgot to reset them until after I had left Bend.

To view these photographs as a slideshow on a desktop/laptop (the best way to see all the pictures full sized), click on the small logo which looks like an old-fashioned movie camera with tripod legs above this text.
