I drove into Ithaca close to Cornell University. There I hiked along a part of The Cascadilla Gorge Trail, which separates Cornell from the city. The trail follows part of Cascadilla Creek, which was almost dry. What little water was flowing appeared to come from drainage pipes emptying into the waterway.

However, I did use my time there to take some sunset photos from the bridge over the creek. I then had dinner at a pleasant delicatessen, heavily frequented by Cornell students and staff just off the Cornell campus.

There are several other waterfalls in Ithaca, but my time there had ended. I do hope to return sometime when there is more water, to visit again.
