John Schmidt at (wearing) the controls
I don't remember exactly the event, but I think it was a costume party, possibly the Field Day at the end of the school year. I was in Junior High school. Being the science and A/V class geek, this was my costume.
It is somewhat of a miracle I didn't electrocute myself; that is a "hot chassis" radio inside, exposed live 120V AC. Do note the power cord dangling from the right side of the box.
