Walking up from the Niagara Gorge Trail to the Devil's Hole State Park, and back to Whirlpool State Park
Walking up from the Niagara Gorge Trail to the Devil's Hole State Park, The climb up the stairs is something like 300 feet. Then walking back along the Niagara Gorge Rim Trail to the Whirlpool State Park where I had parked.
This snake came out to say hello as I was climbing up the trail. I gave it a wide berth but subsequent study seems to indicate it is non-poisonous.
